Fosters are our backbone. We do not have a shelter, therefore, we rely wholly on fosters to care for our dogs and cats until we find them their forever home. Fostering is fun, and besides food and toys, it's free! Every animal comes to your home fully vetted and spayed or neutered if of age. And God forbid your foster pet gets sick or injured, we pay for the vet services. There would be no survivor tales without our fosters. They are the much-needed bridge to a forever family for our animals, and sometimes the first kind word and soft touch they ever experience. If you want to help save a life, become a foster. To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. Ralph Waldo Emerson said this, and it perfectly mirrors our mission at Survivor Tails. We can't save every single animal in the world, but we put our time, energy, sweat, and tears into ensuring every animal we can save enjoys a happy, fulfilling, love-filled life. To do this, we need a lot of help. That's where you come in. We are always looking for application processors, home visitors, transporters, dog handlers, and more to help us save lives. As an all-volunteer-based rescue, we rely fully on the donations of our generous supporters. Rescuing animals isn't as simple as picking them up from a shelter and dropping them into a home. Rescuing costs money, and often, a lot of money. After pull fee, transport, vetting, fixing, quarantining, training (if applicable), and other expenses, there is little to no money left over from the adoption fees we receive. This is why donations are so critical to our mission. The more funds we receive, the more survivor tales we can create.
Please support our life-saving work by clicking the donate button below. Thank you in advance for your generosity, from us and our animals.
What's better than shopping? Shopping for a good cause! Rescuing requires a lot of resources in order to keep our foster animals safe, healthy, and happy. We are always in need of toys, collars, leashes, bedding, litter boxes, litter, treats, and more. Buying supplies from our Amazon Wishlist is a great way to support our cause, and keep cats purring and tails wagging. Please check out our wishlist below and help where you can.Wish List
